After the price of Bitcoin returned above the $50,000 mark with its market capitalization hitting $1 trillion, one of its most famous critics, Peter Schiff, believes it might actually hit $100,000 in the future, but he also pointed out that there was a catch.

Despite being a staunch critic of Bitcoin, Peter Schiff shocked many suggesting that Bitcoin could soar to $100,000, a surprising statement from someone known for their skepticism towards the digital asset. However, Schiff's outlook was not without reservation.

Recently, he shared his contradictory views on Bitcoin, expressing doubts about its long-term prospects. Schiff questioned what could drive another significant rise in Bitcoin's value, given its relatively stagnant performance over the past three years.

While acknowledging the theoretical possibility of Bitcoin reaching $1 million, Schiff warned against viewing it as a surefire path to wealth. He likened Bitcoin's recent surge to speculative gambling, attributing its momentum to the hype surrounding the approval of Bitcoin ETFs, such as those discussed at the recent Miami conference.
